Delfeayo Marsalis & the Uptown Jazz Orchestra GRAMMY award-winning trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis formed the Uptown Jazz Orchestra (UJO) in 2008. Featuring up to 18 accomplished musicians at any given concert, the Uptown Jazz Orchestra sets the standard for celebrating jazz.Delfeayo is one of the top composers and producers in Jazz. Known for his technical excellence, inventive mind and frequent touches of humor (Los Angeles Times), he is one of the most imaginative and musical of his generation. (San Francisco Examiner). Delfeayo has produced over 100 recordings for artists including Harry Connick Jr, Spike Lee, Terence Blanchard, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and his father and brothers, dubbed Americas First Family of Jazz by the National Endowment for the Arts in 2000.Shows at 7:30pm & 9:30pm Doors at 7:00pm & 9:00pm Restaurant is Open 5pm - 10pm for dinner before or after your showtime:Advance Ticket Holders can now automatically make dinner table reservations for the Dining Room online via OpenTable.com !Advance Ticket-Holders can also make table reservations for dinner by Emailing reservations@snugjazz.com after your tickets have been purchased online. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
