See Jane Run: An Indo Story
Scottsdale
About This Event
SEE JANE RUN: AN INDO STORY A solo memoir play by Jane Vogel Mantiri, co-presented by The Bridge Initiative and ASU Kerr This heartfelt solo performance explores love, loss, racism, generational trauma, and the Indo refugee experience. After World War II, many Indos fled Indonesia and hid their identity to protect their children. Today, storytelling helps reclaim that culture. Jane shares her journey of resilience, joy, and belonging, with hopes to tour the play in Indonesia, the Netherlands, and across the U.S. in honor of her family and the global Indo community. **This program is made possible, fully or in part, by a grant from Scottsdale Arts with funding provided by the City of Scottsdale. The Bridge Initiative projects this season are supported in part by a CCG grant for general operations from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, which receives support from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment for the Arts.**
